Adorable Daycare Story!!

When Carson first started daycare, I really didn't love it but was just okay with it. I felt like there were too many kids and caretakers since it's a double-room. But now, almost 4.5 months later, I love the fact that his caretakers, Miss Rosa, Miss Blanka, & Miss Shashali, all LOVE him. They love it when he arrives, even if he is crying and hanging onto my leg, and they are sad when he leaves. It makes me feel good that he is one of their favorites. I mean, come on, how can he not be ;-)
But I digress, the other day Miss Blanka was so excited to tell me just how darn cute Carson was that day. Apparently, during nap time, he rolled off his cot and snuggled up to the boy next to him. On his pillow no less! The ladies were just beside themselves with the "cute" factor and snapped a picture to capture the moment. Unfortunately when the other little boy woke up and found Carson hogging his pillow, he pushed him right off ;-) What a terrible way to wake up from a nap!

Baby Boot Camp at the Zoo!

I'm still attending Baby Boot Camp about 3 days a week. With spring finally springing, another set of classes opened up at the zoo. So on Wednesdays when I have Ian and Carson, we're going to work out at the zoo class so we can stay and play afterward. Today was our first time. It was SOOO cold out but we survived and had a grand time!

So Smart! So Funny!

It never ceases to amaze me how smart Carson is. I say that, not because he is my son, but because toddlers are so capable and their memories are unbelievable!! I took Carson's diaper off in my bedroom tonight because it was sagging loooow. I thought he would like to run around naked for a little while but he was actually very upset and wanted his diaper back on. Just for fun, I said, "Well then, go get me a diaper." I really, truly thought he would go back to playing.

He disappeared for awhile. Just as I started to get curious about the "too quiet" atmosphere, he came around the corner, pushing his dump truck, chock full of diapers!!!! He'd gone into his closet where I keep the extras! I was laughing so hard and so proud at the same time. I had to take a picture because it was so cute. He was also doing "fashion show" tonight with new pj tops (because he loves monkeys) and his new summer Crocs (yes, as much as I hate them on adults- sorry if you have them- I think they are adorable on kids, and since I LOVE anything camo, camo Croc's were perfect). I apologize for the "R-Rating" on the following photo but I don't have the software to blur out Mr. Peeps.

Sunny spring day!

Too nice to go right home after work today so we stopped by a public fountain (Bethany shopping center's for those in the know) but Carson would have NOTHING to do with the water. So we jumped back in the car to play at our our playground.

Another birthday party!

Carson enjoyed the butterfly theme of Ellie's 2nd birthday party! The weather held out and we all played outside! The pink cake was quite tasty as well!

First Camping Trip of the Season!

We packed up the trailer and headed out mid-day Thursday for our first camping trip of the season! The weather was decent, the food was delicious (with the exception of the Trader's Joes buffalo burgers), and the views were fantastic! Carson slept well other than getting up at 6 am the first day and 5:45 the second day.

Breakfast anyone? Carson has two pairs of pajamas on just in case it got too cold. But the furnace kept us nice and toasty ;-) That's really roughing it!
