Lame Mommy Finally Posts Pics!

Life is so focused on the remodel right now that things like pics and blogs are WAY far down the list. Found five minutes and some fun pics to post!

Only have pics of one of our three Easters . . . hint, hint Grandpa Rader and Grandma Levy!

Typical Oregon indoor egg hunt due to inclement weather!

Hard to see but check out that huge grin and massive fat rolls!

See me! I'm almost crawling!

Very, very hard to get a good picture of three squirmy wormies!
This one makes me laugh because it's probably the future faces of the boys when they're teenagers and bored and annoyed with family.

10 days and counting!

A major remodel is a lot like being pregnant. It's exhausting, drags out over many months, causes mood swings, and makes you hate your husband for causing it. But the end result is amazing.

In 10 days we will be moving back into our home after five months of being the world's noisiest, messiest, most destructive house guests. I owe my parents a carpet cleaning, a septic tank cleaning, and about 10 cases of wine for putting up with us.

Our home is turning out even more beautiful than we could have imagined. At the last minute, we decided our hall bathroom stuck out like a sore thumb so we ripped it out. That added a big chunk of CRAZY to our construction schedule and we're now that much closer to adding strait-jackets to our wardrobe.

Kid update:

Carson. When he's good, he's hilarious and adorable. We treasure those moments. But we're still in the awful 3's and shocked at his bad days. He's very impressionable and unfortunately picks up new and less than desirable traits very easily.

Lots of talk about weapons, swords, ninjas, and today zombies. We just try really hard to be as consistent as we can. It's really hard. And exhausting. Lots of crying involved still. I am looking forward to the 4's. I dream that they are fantastic and really don't want to be disappointed.

Keaton. Cutest kid ever! Still smiles all the time. We did have a hilarious moment today. Got to spend a little time at our own home picking up branches in the orchard. I set Keaton down in the grass so I could help. But he was NOT having any of that.

Not sure if it was the grass on his bare feet or the kitty cat's fluffy tail in his face but he screamed bloody murder. Being the kind parents we are, we laughed and fumbled for a camera to capture the truly torturous moment, rather than rescue our clearly suffering child.

Keaton is very different from Carson in his eating habits. Carson would eat 5 jars of baby food a day. We're lucky if we get 2 in Keaton. He has a very sensitive gag reflex and very obvious flavor likes/dislikes.

We did start giving him Saltine crackers and "biter biscuits" this weekend and he loves knawing on them. Only about 50% actually makes it into the tummy and the rest forms the stickest, grossest, goo that coats him from head to toe. A full bath is required each and every time.

Crawling... getting closer. He has figured out how to get up on his knees and rocks a little bit but then falls back down. We've seen a couple of arm reach/army crawl attempts so it should be in the next month or two.

Sleeping well still. But 3 nights in a row now of a binkie wake up at 4 am (BOO) and needing a bottle at 5-5:30ish, more BOO. I'm T-I-R-E-D! Hope it ends soon or we may have to consider the de-binkie process sooner than later!

Off to bed. Pics soon. Once our lives get back to normal, whatever that might be, I promise to return to blog-land!!
