We all trekked down to the beach with Carson in the Bjorn. He slept through half of it . . .

Week 9- First Trip Away from Home to the Beach! Also, Playing in the Exersaucer!
Along with Grandpa & Nana Kuntz, Aunt Liza, and Uncle Jeff, we headed out to Lincoln City to stay at Jeremy's family's beach house. Packing took a good three hours! How many diapers will a baby go through in two and a half days? How many changes of clothes will he need? We stuffed the Pathfinder FULL to the brim, making sure to bring the trusty baby papasan chair, pack n play, and . . . somehow managed to forget a jacket for the little guy! Fortunately we lucked out and the weather in Lincoln City was unbelievable! Gorgous sunny days for our first trip away from home! Arriving late Friday night didn't even phase Carson. He took it all in stride and stuck to his sleep schedule of getting up once in the night. Saturday night when 8:30 pm rolled around, he fell right asleep despite the loud noise and bright lights of Kyllo's restaurant. What a champ!
. . . but woke up with his adorable smile!
Week 7- Just getting Cuter and Cuter!

Week 6- Growing Like a Weed!
Jackson is never far from his little brother. Notice the bone positioned carefully next to the papasan chair!

Grandpa Rader makes weekly visits to see his first grandson!
More bathtime! He just loves splashing around! The tub is growing smaller by the week!

Week 5- Visiting My Friends!
This week we traveled around town visiting friends! Carson did his best to participate but as you can see his is sleeping through most of the visits.
Aaron Zweig - age 4 enjoying the fact that he's not the youngest in the room anymore!
Hannah Zweig age 9- Absolutely adoring Carson and quickly proving that she is going to make a great babysitter! Too bad she lives 45 minutes away!
Jake Zweig age 7- Proving that guys can look cool holding babies!
Emily & Katlynn Gingell ages 2 & 4- These girls were enthralled with baby Carson and begged their Mommy for a little brother. Their Mommy said absolutely not ;-)
Ian Davis- age 4 months - He's not so sure about the competition! But in just a few months I'm sure they'll be playing like old buddies!

Week 4- Great Grandpa Bride & Pure Cutie Patootie!
A drive out to Banks, Oregon for the Jackson Family picnic found Carson in the arms of Great Grandpa Bride! Does he look excited or what!? Carson missed all the fun by sleeping through the whole event! 
By the looks of these pictures, Carson spent the whole day in his pajamas! He was just so darn cute that day we kept snapping pictures all day long! Here we are enjoying a nice summer afternoon in the front yard. Jackson is never far away and usually kissing his little brother!
Once again, showing off how strong his little neck muscles are! This face says, "You'd better pick me up in five seconds or I am going to scream at the top of my lungs!" Carson is liking tummy time less and less.
Does he look like Daddy or what?!
Not a hint of Mommy's features anywhere!! Perhaps the ears? Hopefully he didn't get my stubby legs!
Where's my Binkie? My fingers will just have to do!

Week 3- Rolling Over & Great Grandma Kuntz
Look at our little strong man!! He is loving tummy time and holding up his head! Here he is propped up on the boppy pillow.
Once again, trying to show off! Carson is pushing himself up to get a view of the room!
We actually were lucky enough to catch one of his roll overs on camera!! He surprised us all several times by rolling over. Sometimes he does it out of pure frustration but we love it anyway! Poor guy, as soon as he gets on his back, we roll him back over to his tummy!

Week 2- Learning the Ropes!!
Mommy, Carson, and Jackson going for their first walk. Even though it's summer, the temperature is pretty chilly in the morning at our elevation! Here's the jogging stroller that Mommy wanted oh so badly! Now it's complete with car seat adapter, fuzzy liner, and handlebar "console" for drinks and keys! 
Just the cutest baby ever! Carson is sleeping peacefully on Mommy & Daddy's bed! Once in awhile we lay him down on our soft bed and he falls asleep instantly. Wish they made bassinets just as comfortable. This week we've put away the bassinet and are trying the Pack N Play. He is a VERY loud sleeper which means we don't get much sleep! Jeremy's ears are extremely sore from the ear plugs.
Here we are trying to coax poop out of our constipated little Carson. The advice nurse suggested a warm bath. No luck! Unfortunately the timing didn't quite work out and he couldn't live without a bottle so we just gave it to him in the tub!
Summertime babies are so great! Our anniversary present to each other was a swing for the back patio. Carson loves to swing in the warmth of the sun. Daddy just likes to rest! Counting down the days until Daddy goes back to work. So sad!

Week 1- Visits from Grandparents & Eating A Lot!
A very tired Daddy! Feeding round the clock every 2 hours! What that means is Carson eats (20 minutes), hangs out (15 minutes), then sleeps (60-90 minutes), and then the cycle repeats itself, leaving very little time for sleep for Mommy & Daddy!
